Air Purification Inc. has opted not to participate in the 2009 recession!
A Message from the President
OK, that may sound trite, and we certainly do not in any way want to downplay the seriousness of the current economic situation; but here at Air Purification we hold firm to our belief that when this recession ends, we will emerge as strong as ever as a leader in the air filtration industry.
In our 25 year history, we have weathered other economic storms and have continued to maintain our high standards of service and commitment to our customers. We know that value, customer service and knowledge matter; and our staff remains 100% committed to providing the best products, service and expertise in the industry.
Like everyone, we are hoping for a speedy end to this recession, and rest assured that we will be here when it ends to continue to meet the unique needs of all our customers.
Ron Stumpo, President.

Air Cleaning Case Study #302
Application: Production facility for a major manufacturer of specialized construction equipment.
Problem: The manufacturer, based near Charlotte, NC, had significant issues with smoke and dust in the plant from production welding and grinding.
Solution: Since source capture of the smoke and dust was not practical and such units would have been very expensive, API specified a series of 30 6,000 cfm heavy duty overhead ambient air cleaners. These units provide an air exchange each 7 to 8 minutes in the production area, drastically reducing the airborne particulate in the plant. In addition, the customer is realizing a significant cost savings by not exhausting conditioned air, and has provided their employees with a much cleaner and safer work environment. We estimate that the customer’s return on investment will be realized within five years..

Meet the Staff:
Ralph Nichols
Ralph has been with API for 18 years, having joined us in 1991 as the Senior Installation Project Manager. Prior to joining API he had served almost 10 years in the US Navy submarine service. He feels this experience has made him acutely aware of the importance of air quality in the workplace, since the air quality in the submarines can quickly deteriorate once the hatch is closed.
He feels one of the best parts of his job is being in a position to help people who have to breathe contaminates that their job exposes them to and likes the fact that his job involves helping companies protect their valued workers respiratory health.
Having grown up as a military ‘brat’, Ralph now lives in Clayton, NC with his wife Oneta (Neta) and their son Ralph III (Trey). Ralph also has 3 daughters, Tory, Misty and Kimberly and is the proud grandfather of 4 grandchildren.
